Bodybuilders on Steroids Needed for Wonder Woman Television Series

Bodybuilders who use anabolic steroids tend to be marginalized by a lot of professions but not by Hollywood! Central Casting Los Angeles is seeking “bodybuilder type guys to play soldiers that appear to be on steroids” for the new David E. Kelley “Wonder Woman” television series starring Friday Night Lights star Adrianne Palicki. The casting call doesn’t explicitly ask for steroid-using bodybuilders but who better to play a soldier that appears to be using steroids than a bodybuilder who actually uses steroids!

Central Casting Los Angeles is looking for Super Buff, Worked Out, Bodybuilder Type Guys to play soilders that appear to be on steroids for Wonder Woman. This will work at the end of march or beginning of April. Email bodyshots with all sizes and contact info to centralww@gmail.com. if you know someone not registered with Central Casting please let them know they can submit too! You must live in the LA area for this job.

Wonder Woman is a DC Comics superheroine who was last played by the voluptuous Lynda Carter in the 1979 Wonder Woman TV series. NBC ordered the pilot of Kelley’s screenplay last month. It is to be directed by Jeffrey Reiner.

The series pilot is a reinvention of the iconic DC Comics title in which Wonder Woman — a.k.a. Diana Prince — is a vigilante crime fighter in Los Angeles but also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life. Kelley and Bill D’Elia (Boston LegalThe Practice) are the executive producers. The pilot was written by Kelley and will be directed by Jeffrey Reiner (NBC’s The Event). Wonder Woman is from David E. Kelley Productions and Warner Bros. Television.

We look forward to seeing Adrianne Palicki fighting some steroid-using bodybuilder types on NBC later this year!
