Surfers Use Steroids Too

The use of anabolic steroids has invaded the sport of surfing according to the international governing body that regulates the sport. At least they have been convinced that steroids represent a big problem in surfing. Steroids Remain Unforgiveable While Sportswriters Forgive Amphetamines

Sports writers tend to have an irrational hatred of anabolic steroid use in sports such as baseball. The use of steroids remains an unforgiveable sin that can not be overlooked. The Baseball Writers Association of America (BWAAA) has long struggled with the ongoing debate over whether steroids users (or merely accused steroid users) should be voted to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Steroid User, Bodybuilder Accused of Murdering a Teacher on Christmas

NPC heavyweight bodybuilder Johnnie Lee Wiggins has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of teacher Prudence Hockley. Hockley taught regular and advanced placement English at Woodinville High School (Washington) .

The jealous boyfriend brutally beat Hockley shattering the bones in face after he saw another man’s car at her Seattle home on Christmas day. She died at Harborview Medical Center later that day. Wiggins inflicted “numerous extremely forceful blows to [Hockley’s] face and head” leaving her unconscious and bleeding heavily on the ground in front of her home according to police. Hockley’s 13-year old was at home and reported the incident to the hospital and police. [Read more…]

Seal Beach Jail Guard Busted with Anabolic Steroids at Work

A detention officer at the Seal Beach Jail has been arrested on anabolic steroid and bribery charges. The Orange County District Attorney’s Office charged Jose Alday with felony count of an officer receiving bribes, felony possession for sale of a controlled substance (anabolic steroids) and misdemeanor possession of controlled substance paraphernalia (used methamphetamine pipe). Steroids Positive Costs Turkish Women’s Olympic Gold Medalist a Lifetime Ban

Turkish weightlifter Nurcan Taylan tested positive for anabolic steroids during anti-doping protocols in October 2011. The International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) tested national weightlifters in Turkey during this time. The Olympic, World and European weightlifting champion disputed the results of this sample and requested analysis of a second sample. [Read more…]

Child Molesters But Not Steroid Users Allowed in Baseball Hall of Fame?

Hall of Fame baseball writer Bill Conlin has recently been accused of child molestation that occurred during the 1960s and 1970s. Jersey City Police Department Discriminates Against Officers on TRT

Police officers who are on medically-prescribed testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) can be selectively targeted for steroid testing according to the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia. The appellate court dismissed the lawsuit brought by Jersey City Police officers Nicholas Kramer, Brian McGovern and Patrick Fay against Police Chief Thomas Comey and the Jersey City Police Department. Ten Bodybuilders Caught Using Steroids at the 2011 Arab Games

The sport of bodybuilding suffered a major embarrassment at the 2011 Pan Arab Games in the Qatari capital of Doha after ten bodybuilders tested positive for anabolic steroids. The gold medalist is almost every weight class was disqualified for the use of steroids. Bodybuilder Goes Free Because He Was Hard-Working and Industrious Steroid Dealer

Polish bodybuilder Mariusz Bak pleaded guilty to the possession of class C anabolic steroids with intent to supply and the importation of steroids. During sentencing, a British judge decided to allow Bak to go free after concluding that Bak was “hard working and industrious” and did not fully understand the potential harm of selling steroids. Doctor Loses License for Improperly Prescribing Steroids to HIV Patient and Anemia Patient

A Florida doctor who was linked to Treasure Coast Pharmacy has lost his medical license.  The Florida Department of Health revoked Dr. Timothy Sigman’s medical license citing five cases where the doctor failed to properly evaluate internet patients and did not have medically justifiable reasons to prescribe anabolic steroids, human growth hormone (hGH) and  human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG).
