Chinese Steroid Doctor Suspects Michael Phelps Used Steroids

Chen Zhanghao, a former top physician for the Chinese Olympic team, told the international press that he has long suspected Michael Phelps of using anabolic steroids. But given the complete lack of evidence support such a suspicion, he has kept quiet until now. American Swim Coach Accuses Chinese Swimmer of Doping

John Leonard, a top American swimming coach and the current executive director of the World Swimming Coaches Association, did everything he could to suggest that a new 16-year old swimming sensation from China was guilty of doping with banned performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs). Chinese swimmer Ye Shewin won the gold medal in the 400-meter individual medley (in a world record time) and the 200-meter individual medley at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Doctor Admits State-Sponsored Steroid Use in China During 1980s and 1990s

Chen Zhanghao, a former top physician for the Chinese Olympic team, admitted administering performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) to athletes in an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper in Australia. He admitted overseeing the use of PEDs, such as anabolic steroids and human growth hormone (hGH), as part of a state-sponsored doping program in China during the 1980s and 1990s. Brazilian Olympic Swimmer Busted Using Anabolic Steroids

The Confederação Brasileira de Desportos Aquáticos (CBDA), the federation that oversees the sport of swimming in Brazil, suspended an Olympic swimmer after an anti-doping urinalysis revealed evidence of anabolic steroid use. Glauber Silva tested “positive” for testosterone after failing the testosterone-epitestosterone (T:E) ratio test.
