Carl Lewis Says Only Fools Wouldn’t Suspect Usain Bolt of Using Steroids

Carl Lewis, the former 100-meter champion and multiple Olympic gold medalist, expressed his skepticism about the performances of Usain Bolt four years ago at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He made thinly veiled accusations that Bolt was doping with steroids or some other performance-enhancing drug (PED) in an interview with the British newspaper The Telegraph. Brain Research in Teenage Steroid Users

Leslie Henderson and Ann Clark, professors at the Giesel School of Medicine in Dartmouth, are concerned that teenagers who use anabolic steroids may not be aware of the effects of steroids on the brain. Most people have heard about aggression as a possible side effect of steroid use. Stories of “roid rage” have appeared regularly in the news. Victor Conte Returns to Summer Olympics as Anti-Steroid Advocate

Victor Conte has traveled to London for the 2012 Summer Olympics. The last time he went to the Olympics, he was to help provide anabolic steroids to some of the top American athletes. This time he is at the Olympics for an entirely different purpose. While he will still support American athletes in general and provide support for one American in particular, his support does not include providing undetectable, banned performance-enhancing steroids to Olympians. 2012 London Olympics Dirty Little Secret – Anti-Doping Program Sucks

Alan Abramson recently penned an article that questioned the credibility of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) steroid testing program. WADA may be administering more and more anti-doping tests every year. And the 2012 Summer Olympics in London may set a new record for the number of athletes and the number of drug tests. Hawaii Pilot Faces Fifty Years in Prison for Personal Possession of Anabolic Steroids

A pilot that was contracted by the Kaua’i Fire Department faces up to 50 years in prison for the personal possession of anabolic steroids. Kurt Ventura pleaded guilty to second-degree felony possession of the anabolic steroid oxandrolone, second-degree felony attempted possession of oxandrolone and the illegal use of drug paraphernalia. American Swim Coach Accuses Chinese Swimmer of Doping

John Leonard, a top American swimming coach and the current executive director of the World Swimming Coaches Association, did everything he could to suggest that a new 16-year old swimming sensation from China was guilty of doping with banned performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs). Chinese swimmer Ye Shewin won the gold medal in the 400-meter individual medley (in a world record time) and the 200-meter individual medley at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
