Steroid Dealer Goes to Prison With Father on Deathbed

A Missouri man has been sentenced to seven years and eight months in prison for selling anabolic steroids. Steven Campbell pleaded guilty in September 2012 to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute anabolic steroids and conspiracy to commit money laundering. Campbell attempted to avoid prison so that he could care for his dying father. His father was suffering from the advanced stages of lung cancer. His request was denied. [Read more…]

New York Court of Appeals Rules That Signature Pharmacy Steroid Scandal Still Not Over

The New York Court of Appeals ruled that the Albany County District Attorney’s Office (ACDAO) can continue its criminal prosecution of a Florida compounding pharmacy. Signature Pharmacy was accused of illegally distributing anabolic steroids and performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs). Italian Cyclist Blames Buttock Tumor on Performance Enhancing Drugs

A former Italian professional cyclist has blamed doping as the culprit in the development of a tumor discovered in his left buttock according to the Italian newspaer Gazzetta dello Sport. Alistair Overeem’s Opponents Think He is a Long-Time Steroid User

Alistair “The Demolition Man” Overeem, a heavyweight mixed martial artist from the Netherlands, will finish serving his steroid-related suspension later this month. He is set to return to the MMA octagon at UFC 156 where he is scheduled to fight Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva. However, Overeem’s opponents don’t seem to think Overeem learned his lesson from the steroid suspension.
