Details of Lexx Labs Steroid Bust Emerge

The remailers for Lexx Labs helped federal investigators build a case against the New York-based underground steroid laboratory according to the Omaha World-Herald newspaper. Christopher Bowers, Ryan Bowers, Bernard Venditte and Jeanine Rowe were each charged with conspiracy to distribute anabolic steroids and possession with intent to distribute anabolic steroids. Anabolic Steroids Seized in Australia NOT Intended for Prostitutes

The Sydney Morning Herald newspaper accused traffickers of anabolic steroids of pumping up prostitutes in Bangladesh. Four men boarding a Singapore Airline flight to Bangladesh at the Sydney International Airport were in possession of a significant quantity of the anabolic steroids testosterone (Primoteston Depot) and oxandrolone (Anavar) and approximately one million dollars in cash. Hawaii Pilot Faces Fifty Years in Prison for Personal Possession of Anabolic Steroids

A pilot that was contracted by the Kaua’i Fire Department faces up to 50 years in prison for the personal possession of anabolic steroids. Kurt Ventura pleaded guilty to second-degree felony possession of the anabolic steroid oxandrolone, second-degree felony attempted possession of oxandrolone and the illegal use of drug paraphernalia. Canadian Competitive Bodybuilder Who Sold Steroids Sentenced to Five Years Prison

Reiner Ruska, a 36- year old Canadian amateur bodybuilder, pleaded guilty to three counts of trafficking anabolic steroids and cocaine and one count of possessing more than $70,000 in proceeds from drug trafficking. Ruska was sentenced to five years in prison after defense attorney David Rose and federal prosecutor Lisa Matthews submitted a joint recommendation on his behalf. [Read more…]

The Ukrainians Oleksandr “Musclebear” Skochyk and Yvgeniy “Eugene” Suray have each been sentenced to 3 years and 10 months in United States federal prison. They previously pleaded guilty to charges related to the distribution of anabolic steroids to residents of the United States. “Musclebear” was an international steroid source based in the Ukraine. His organization shipped steroids to both individual customers and domestic remailers located in the U.S. The court outcome represents one of the limited successes in the federal government’s internationalization of its “war on steroids”. AXS Fitness Busted for Steroid Sales According to Spanish Authorities

Spain’s Guardia Civil has arrested four men involved in the illegal distribution of anabolic steroids during an investigation codenamed “Operación Gym”. The steroid dealing allegedly operated out of a sports nutrition supplement store in the Madrid suburb of Las Rozas. The owner and an employee of ‘AXS Fitness Nutricion Deportiva’ were arrested at the store and two other individuals were arrested at their homes on June 5, 2012.  [Read more…]
